Introduction:

The tarot, consists of a deck of 78 cards through which we obtain knowledge about the emotional and earthly situation of a person. Among them, we have 22 considered major arcana, while the remaining 56 are the minor arcana. These, are illustrated representations of the energy of the universe and until today, is considered like an instrument of the divination. His illustrations have such symbols that allow us to know about our life and what happens in it. Its origin, encloses certain mysticism, since, it is not known the exact origin or the individual who designed his figures. Many researchers believe that their beginnings are based on the Egyptian Book of Thoth. It is said that the Legacy of God Thoth possessed such magical wisdom that it would allow an individual to communicate with the gods and beyond. Today, it is said that this manuscript has disappeared. Even so, we have several references and people who have received information about its content.

It is very important that before performing any type of roll, you can know the meaning of each of the cards. This will help you interpret them correctly. That said, this time I’m going to explain how the cards cross throwing works. Anyway, I must tell you that there are many ways to throw the cards and it is important that you find the one with which you feel at ease.

Cross- throwing Process:

Before throwing the cards, it is very important to clean the environment in which we are going to throw the cards. For this, it is positive to have incense burned. I do not recommend candles because the candles attract particular energies and for this reason, it is best to work with incense. I also recommend throwing the cards on a violet cloth (the color of the transmutation) and having a pyramid aside. It will absorb and transmute any bad energy. If you have already played the cards previously, you must place them in numerical order and to the right.

This technique can be used for multiple circumstances and serves for all kinds of questions. In my case, I use it as the first card throwing or main one. Before the person asks questions, this is made to have a general knowledge of the emotional and earthly state of our consultant.

The consultant will first have to mix the cards counter clockwise (in a circular way), in order for the cards to be connected to their power. Then you will have to put the cards together in a single pylon and you will have to stretch them to choose the five cards that will form the cross. As the consultant chooses the cards, you will turn them around and form a cross. Recall that a straight card is not the same as an inverted card.

  1. Upper card: Represents the mental state, emotional of our consultant. Here we see how its spiritual world is, how he feels in the face of a current situation, past or future. It may be the subject or concern that is present in the life of the consultant.
  2. Central card: This card represents the relationship between the earthly world and the spiritual world. It can be balanced or unbalanced.
  3. Lower card: The lower card represents the underworld. How our consultant handles life in front of the issues that appear in his mind. It can happen that in the earthly world the consultant feels good, in the sense that he handles well his work, he has recognition, he has no financial problems, but, even so, he has an unbalanced sentimental situation. The reverse can also happen.
  4. Left card: The card on the left represents the past. He may have gone through both positive and painful situations that condition the present moment. Has my consultant been through a painful situation? Or has experienced a positive situation that gives him awareness and confidence? If he has experienced a painful situation: is he interpreting this situation as learning? Does he understand that he should learn from that situation or feel attachment / resentment?
  5. Right card: This card represents the future, but not the future as “what is going to happen” since not the wisest of the wise knows what is going to happen. This represents the perception our consultant has about the days to come. How does the consultant think he will be in the future? If he feels he will do wrong what is the cause of this negative look? Are there fears and concerns? Does he feel safe or insecure? Is he doing something in the present moment to change the look he has of his future?

Conclusion:

As we can see, the throwing and the interpretation of the cards are not as simple as we think. I reiterate that the most important thing is to know the meaning of all the cards in order to be able to offer our consultant a clear interpretation. For those who do not know, any card that appears backwards tells us about negative issues. That is why it is very important to learn the symbology of cards. You should also know that any card can affect or condition the other, even if they are not together. For example, a card from the past can condition both the earthly and spiritual world, the balance between the two worlds and the look of the future of the consultant.
