Easter is approaching, when we all pay a well-deserved tribute to the one who gave his life for us. That is why I decided to share a series of rituals and customs for you to carry out in your homes or in the place you are in these days, in order to keep in touch with God the Creator.
Rituals for Easter
The first thing we have to do, although I’m sure you already practice it, is to stop eating meat for those days, because it represents his body, so the recommendation is to include a lot of fish in your diets.
It would be good to look for some recipes for sweets made with coconut or any other fruit: I am sure that your family will be happy to try all those delicacies that you are willing to prepare. Let’s say that the sweets reward the fact that you are not consuming meat.
One of the rituals I learned since I was a child – my grandmother used to do it – was to light a candle from Holy Monday, always remembering that it was for our Lord Jesus. There I used to thank him for the gesture of having sacrificed for us, as well as thanking him for ever being in my life.
This candle lights from Monday to Sunday that rises. In addition, it was very popular to make a figure with the face of Judas in the villages and then burn it for treason to our Lord.
Remember that in order to do each of these rituals it is important that faith always accompany you, that is, that it is housed in their hearts. If so, you are likely to accomplish many things.
