Our guides in the sky

Welcome to Paradise! A naked woman, sends us to Eva, poured the contents of two vessels. Over it, the night sky lit by the stars.

La Estrella XVII

  • According to Jodorowsky is the first naked arcane in the tarot. In my case, I consider that the first is the Devil who, like the star, exposes everything about himself.
  • From an interpretive point of view, it can be said that his nakedness is linked to the purification of body and to creation. There is nothing hidden, everything that is in body and soul is exposed to the light of the stars.
  • The fact that she is kneeling can assume she has found her place in the world and is connected to it. It can also be interpreted as a reverence for the earth. Respecting what it gives us.
  • Unlike the Temperance, we see that the woman pours the contents of the vessels. Both contents have different characteristics. For many she is wasting the liquids from each vessel, while for others, she gives them to the earth as an offering.
  • In the sky we see a total of eight stars. Eight is linked to the concept of infinity, of gifts and of perfection. In the celestial world are the wise beings that watch us and guide us.

In front of our consultant

Remember that every card is conditioned by those around you. Having clarified this, The Star tells us that we have help from above. There are our guides accompanying us on our way. It may also mean that we find our place in the world. We feel identified in the place where we are.

In an inverted position, it may indicate that someone is not valuing what is given. He is wasting what he receives. Having said that, it is important to ask ourselves what we put our energy into. On the other hand, it can mean a mismatch with where we are. We do not feel that the place where we live or work generates a true harmony. We will have to ask ourselves how we disassociate ourselves from what does not work.

Numerology

The number seventeen is the combination of ten and seven. Recall that in the case of the car, our character had a veil that did not allow him to see the sky. Now we can glimpse what was hidden, on our earthly character there was a starry sky. The ten, Wheel of Fortune, is the call of a new cycle.

The seventeenth in itself represents harmony and hope. It is no coincidence that it is linked to the divine illumination and therefore to the stars. There are superior beings that illuminate our path to achieve inner peace.

To Conclude

The Star is harmony with the internal and external nature. It is the connection with our being and with the very reality that surrounds us. This is the reward we seek in life, to feel part of our context, living the present and enjoying the moment. Also for those who want to be discovered in fortune telling, this card predicts our divinatory faculties.
